Hello,
Any hints for problem 389 (pg. 149)? "Through a point given in the interior of an angle, draw a line such that its segments between the point and the sides of the angle have a given ratio m:n."
The method of homothety clearly needs to be used, so I'm first trying to create a similar line using theorem 174 (property of bisectors) but can't figure out where to construct the bisector, since the point isn't necessarily on the bisector. Initially I was thinking maybe question 387 would help, but it's not clear to me where the circle would go. Thanks for the help!
